15 Aug 2008Echuca cruise 2nd august

COLY RUMBLERS 1st weekend cruise away was HUGE .We had 10 cars and 18 people enjoy a weekend in echuca . It all started off well and we made it to the other side of jerilderie before the first pit stop ,the xy didn't want to start "very unusual for this to happen"i think some holden driver may have sabotaged it ,turned out to be a starter wire on the starter motor ... We travelled on to conargo pub to get a couple of photos and im sure a few were thinking a beverage or two would have been a great idea but it wasn't even 10.00am "although im sure it was 5pm some where". Next stop was CLANCYS WINERY conargo we just had to try a few wines and also checked out a huge number plate collection.On we travelled to DENILIQUIN to a well renowned hot rod shop for a look around, some nice rides come out of that shop . By this time we were getting hungry and a couple of the cars were getting thirsty.Lunch was at the RAILWAY HOTEL in deniliquin .We arrived in Moama and settled into relax mode at the COUNTRY COMFORT RESORT . The club had organized for us to go on a paddle steamer cruise ,evening meal and drinks but didn't tell us we had on board entertainment "need i any say more mr captain" didn't know a steam engine could do so many revs . The night was finished off at a local pub in Moama. Sunday OOOOOOWWWWWWWW some sore heads . Had to have breakfast at the famous BEECHWORTH BAKERY before we all went off and did a bit of retail therapy .On the home run we stopped off at the COLONY INN Jerilderie for lunch before making our way home. THANK YOU EVERYONE WHO CAME ALONG IT WAS A BRILLIANT WEEKEND AND CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE. TAKE CARE .

15 Jun 2008coleambally 40th birthday bash

What fantastic weekend we all had.Thankyou to all the coly rumblers that helped out on the friday movie and casserole night ,huge night for all.Well done every one . How cool was our float in the saturday parade ,that buggy spinning out dirt off the truck was funny as. On sunday we took cars to the lions club show n shine on the oval ,we set up our banner and merchandise store and had a great day,we even took a trophy home. On monday we sponsored the skate board comp and provided a bbq for all those hungry people. Knarly man We then moved over to the billy cart races and cranked up the bbq again to provide for all those hungry race billy cart drivers . I hope im not on the road when some of those guys get there licence!!! Once again we would like to thank everyone who helped out over the weekend ,it was a great effort and great fun!!!!! Have a great day everyone!!

11 Mar 2008WHAT A DAY

WOW what a fantastic day we had .Our first show n shine was a huge success and what about that DYNO MACHINE what stir that caused .It was amazing to see so many people willing to put their valuable cars on the dyno and I am sure a few people will go away and burn a few holes in their pocket trying to improve their machine before our next event. The SMART WAX demonstration cleaned up ,there was a lot of nice shiny cars leaving their site. The cars and bikes on display were top class and a credit to their owners and we would like to thank each and every one of you for bringing your vehicles for everyone to see. Miss/Mrs Rumblers quest was a great bit of fun . Some brute strength was shown in the piston throwing. What about the kids bike show ,some nice bikes in there . And a HUGE thank you to our members who helped organize the event and put in a big effort on the day . Also thank you to the stall holders that helped make the day a success. And very big thank you to the crowd who came along and supported us . Thanks to all the sponsors , it would never have happened without your support.
